Gin & Tonic is my favourite sunny afternoon tipple. I enjoy just enough Tonic to add a few bubbles! We tried something a little different and froze our Tonic. Yes Tonic ice blocks. That way you get to enjoy the botanicals in the Gin as the distillers hoped and keep it cool on a warm day. The Native Finger Lime Flavour Pearls add a vibrant burst of Lime with every sip too.
What you’ll need…adjust volumes accordingly
Tonic – We used Dirty Tonic by Dr Strangelove
Gin – Choose what you love – ours was a gorgeous brew by Giniversity in WA – full of Native Australian botanical flavours

Lets get started
Start the day before. Simply fill your ice cube tray with Tonic Water and freeze until hard.
*Leave 2 – 5mm gap from the top of the tray as the Tonic will expand a little when freezing*
Ready to serve It’s best to set up your serving tray ready to go. Then it’s all about just topping up and enjoying! Set out your glasses and Gin on the tray. On another tray or plate pop out the Tonic Ice. Add one or two to each glass (stash the rest in the freezer until you need them). Top each Tonic Ice block with a spoonful of Native Finger Lime Flavour Pearls. Now you are ready to join your friends. Simply add a generous splash of Gin to each glass, now crank those tunes and enjoy.
